The basic sculpting of the terrain is complete. More work may need to be done, but it doesn't make sense to do it unless the player is going to actually see the terrain. So that's for later.
Now it is time to start filling in the town! For this project I feel nature is essential, so I'm going to include many foliage models along side the medieval buildings and props. So I made a bunch of trees. As usual I've modeled everything in the scene from scratch. Textures are original. I adjusted all the diffuse maps so they react better to the global illumination and color bleeding. It seems values higher than .5 have better effect. I'm happy for now, but there may be a little more tweaking. See below! Things are coming together.
